Hi to our Reading & Discussion group!
I put together this blog and each of us are contributors. When you want to write a quote, thought or deep insight, you can publish it on here and all of us will read it and comment back and forth as we have time. I can make it private after we add more authors as they come into our group. Look over the features and let me know what you think. I can change about anything on here if you want to make any suggestions.
I really enjoyed our last discussion on the Pain-body last Thursday evening. It helped me understand how to deal with it better. Everyone had such great insights. We missed you Missy! I hope to see all of you blogging on here soon.
As we go on our path together ...

In Eternity We Stand!
Yes, I think this will be fun and a great way for us to share with each other in between meetings.
I love both of your quotes, Sue. The one by Ken Wilber has so much more detail but Woody Allen gets directly to the point. These fits so well with our blog title.
I love collapsing the boundaries to this present moment. Here, in eternity, we stand! Of course, I have to keep reminding myself - I'm in eternity.
The quote in your email from the book, The Dancing Wu Li Masters, is the Math and Science behind all this. I'll repeat the quote. "Minkowski's mathematical explorations of space and time were both revolutionary and fascinating. Out of them came a simple diagram of space-time showing the mathematical relationship of the past, present, and the future. Of the wealth of information contained in this diagram, the most striking is that all of the past and all of the future, for each individual meet and forever meet, at one single point, now. Furthermore, the now of each individual is specifically located, and will never be found in any other place, than here (wherever the observer is at)." (p. 154) Wow!
See all of you Thursday at the reading group.
Have a great week!
Debbie

This will be great!
This will be great! Good job setting this up, Debbie. Now we can communicate with each other when we can't get together personally or any other time that we feel like it.
Quote from Woody Allen: Time is just a scheme to keep everything from happening at once.
Quote from Ken Wilber: Thus, to see all memory as present experience is to collapse the boundaries of this present moment, to free it of illusory limits, to deliver it from the opposites of past vs. future. It becomes obvious that there is nothing behind you in time nor before you in time. You thus have nowhere to stand but in the timeless present, and thus nowhere to stand but in eternity.
Regards,
Sue

Living "IN THE NOW" - The Key to Ending Conflict and Suffering for Your Life and in the World!
The purpose of this group is for men and women to study the teachings of the modern-day spiritual master, Eckhart Tolle ... and others from time to time!
Have you read one of Eckhart Tolle's books, or, perhaps, participated in Oprah's 10-week online webcast of A NEW EARTH? Are you ready to integrate these teachings into your life … to discover the freedom and joy of living "IN THE NOW" and to enhance your understanding that this is the key to ending conflict and suffering in the your life and in the world?
We are discussing the teachings of Eckhart Tolle every Thursday evening. Also, we will watch a DVD of a live recording of an Eckhart Tolle intensive from time to time. At times, we will also study other topics and authors of interest to the group.
There's no need to "go it alone" when you can have a group of fun, like-minded individuals supporting you on your life's journey. See you at our next discussion group.
As we continue the path together ...
